The Welfare Reform Club have, over many visits to local authorities across the country, given local authorities confidence in their ability to manage the changes to the welfare system helping them to take an active role in the transition to Universal Credit. For example, we were asked to support several local authorities in their Universal Credit pilot bids.
Local authorities have a seemingly impossible challenge in simply coping with the raft of welfare reform changes that are coming their way – any one of which would be a major project in itself. The Welfare Reform Club bring many years of expertise working on all aspects of the welfare system and can bring best practice and tailored advice in all aspects of welfare reform.
